The new addition to our off-road family has finally arrived! It took almost six months, but she is home and getting acquainted with the family.

The first meet-up between MaryAnn and the yet-to-be-named new addition took place the other day. There was no snorting around or sniffing of tailpipes. Everyone was well prepared for this day. Discussions took place ahead of time to ensure all were aware their place, function, and spot in the driveway/garage.

Speaking of place and function, the trusted and true MaryAnn will be my off-roader and my dirty hauler. She will be kept in a garage down the street and brought home often to undergo maintenance and further modifications.

The TRD Pro will be my daily driver. I work from home and I don’t drive daily, so I guess she will be my couple-times-a-week driver. It will be a few years before she sees anything more technical than an unpaved fire road. Until then, she will be our grocery-getter, our family trip-mobile. She will also be my trailer-puller as she handles the utility trailer with much more pep and energy.

MaryAnn has 22 years of experience to share with the new arrival. Having them both around means there will be many years for MaryAnn to show the newbie the ropes.
