I&nbsp;was afraid to look at the back rim and tire on the driver\u2019s side of the vehicle as I had a feeling I would see evidence that the axle seal was leaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yep. It was leaking. I suspected that the shop I had replace the axle seal, bearings, etc. didn\u2019t do the job right. Less than 1500 miles and it is leaking again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 4Runner is at the local Toyota dealer now. I talked to the service manager about the situation and he said it is clear that the job wasn\u2019t done right, but he won\u2019t know exactly what was done incorrectly until he tears it apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lesson learned?
